The process of science - how do we get to Evidence-based practice? I love teaching this lesson; whether it be in Research Methods, Ex Phys, Applied Sports Science, etc. In Reserach Methods, last week we talked about what is science and research, etc. And how do we do it? ANd that you need not be a ‘white lab coat researcher’ … think Plan | Do | Study | Act (Program Evaluation/ Quality Improvement). Today we did our “Instant Animals” experiments … we will follow this up with a Consensus Conference of the 5 ‘research groups’ and explore causal criteria.
