ANGA COM Show: 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 for June 2025 ⏺ 9 months before the start, registrations have already been received for two thirds of the exhibition space in 2024 ⏺ This is a new record at this very early stage ⏺ Already bookings of all vendors with more than 100 sqm in 2024   In 2025, exhibitors and visitors can look forward to 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀: ⏺ The networking and meeting capacities on the fairgrounds will be significantly increased once again ⏺ A new ANGA COM Business Center with extensive logistics for meetings and concentrated office work will be created directly in hall 7 ⏺ We will continue to expand the topic areas connectivity, mobile, software and AI ⏺ We will align the agenda on the Innovation Stage in hall 7 more closely with the regular conference programme   Dr. Peter Charissé, CEO ANGA COM: “Next year, we will continue to focus on strong future topics such as fiber optics, connectivity, streaming and OTT. We want to give even more space to software and AI solutions. At the same time, we will also continuously improve our logistics at the fairgrounds. Event & Expo videos are normally dignified with very hip hop moments captured from the entire 3 days. But for us this is a very common scene where the exhibitors are terribly #bored and eventually engaged in their own business. Exhibiting at an expo is a costly affair. 100’s of thousands of dollars are spent on a single booth which the owner invested into from under his or her yearly marketing budget. Key problems would be: 1) The booth is very conventional and not welcoming 2) The wrong guy assigned at the exhibition to exhibit 3) Nothing out of the box designed to showcase your product or service that has an Aww factor. 4) Fatigue and tiredness almost at the end of each day at the expo results in literally zero focus for potential clients & customers. 5) Repeated explanation to those who enquire - creating indefinite boredom and tiredness. The dream is to have an energetic exhibitor behind the desk who can go on and on without a trace of tiredness or boredom. Indeed the solution is digitalization and virtual displays and DIY tasks. September is when things really kick into gear, as we’ll be at seven events around the world, with talks galore: • 𝗔𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮, August 26–28 — Felipe Erias will be presenting “Augmented and Immersive Experiences on the Web”, a look at the challenges of taking the capabilities of each device and form factor into account, as well as also contending with the limited and fragmented nature of existing XR platforms on Tuesday, August 27th. • 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, September 2–7 — Andy Wingo will be keynoting this series at ICFP Milan! • 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗲𝗿, September 14 — Stephanie Stimac will present “Funding the Web Ecosystem”, an examination of how we currently fund the web, why it’s a problem, and possible ways to fix it. • 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲, September 16–18 — Max Ihlenfeldt will present “Stabilizing Chromium’s Wayland Support: Implementing and Testing Fallback Tab Dragging”, a dig into automated testing and protocol extensions within the Wayland compositor, on Monday September 16. • 𝗥𝗗𝗞 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁, September 17 — Miguel Gomez will present “Improving WPE’s graphics pipeline” on Monday, September 16. We’ll also be showing off WPE WebKit, maybe with a surprise or two, at our booth: Hall 5, 5.A55. • 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘅 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀, September 18–20 — There will be three talks presented by Igalians:    • “Using sched_ext to improve frame rates on the SteamDeck” by Changwoo Min    • “Dealing with GPU resets” by Andre Almeida    • “Using DL servers for FIFO tasks starvation avoidance” by Thadeu Cascardo    • In addition, Andre Almeida will be leading the “Graphics & DRM” micro-conference • 𝗞𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲𝘀, September 23–25 — Two of our number will be in attendance, and we’re also official Supporters of the conference. • 𝗧𝗣𝗔𝗖, September 23–27 — The annual gathering of the W3C’s governing bodies, member institutions, working groups, and interested parties, where we’ll have quite a few attendees.
