April is Active Dog Month 🐕 Staying active plays a crucial role in the health and happiness of dogs, offering them the physical exercise and mental stimulation they need. But the benefits don't stop there; engaging in regular activities with dogs can significantly boost our physical health, mental well-being, and foster a deeper bond between dogs and humans. 🐶🧑🏽 If you need some inspiration on how to get more active with your owned or borrowed dog here are a few ideas: - Set a step challenge (x amount of steps a day or throughout the month) - Set a distance challenge (x distance a day or throughout the month) - Set a time challenge (x amount minutes a day or throughout the month) - Explore somewhere new at least once a week

Owner, Law Enforcement Today, Blue Lives Matter and The Police Tribune. CEO, The Silent Partner Marketing. Serial entrepreneur. Christian conservative. Keynote speaker.
He was going to take his own life. He had his phone on do not disturb and his weapon in his hand. Then this officer's phone went off anyway. "I just wanted you to know that I love you, and that there's light at the end of the tunnel." His best friend - having no idea what Matthew Griffin was about to do - saved his life that day with that phone call. One of this veteran-turned-officer's first calls EVER was for his best friend's toddler... who was found hanging from the blinds cord in the living room. Matt tried giving him CPR and reviving him. The child's last breath was Matt's. It was the first heartbreak in a series of traumatic events that haunted Matt until that moment he almost ended it. And since that fateful day... he's spent every day of his life doing something good...something positive...something helpful to change someone else's life. Now Matt travels the country working with officers who are struggling... changing and saving countless lives. I want you to see him. I want you to see his heart and hear his story. His video will be coming soon. Please, please REPOST this - because there's another Matt out there right now... right in this moment... who needs to see this and know that there's light at the end of the tunnel. Love you, brother. Thanks for sharing your heart with the world... and thanks for the lives you save every single day without even knowing it. #lawenforcement #thinblueline #Godbless

Letting go of family heirlooms is not about erasing the past but about enjoying the present and establishing a future that best suits you. But, sometimes it feels wrong to let go of things passed on from family members. I often hear one or more of the following from "guilty" recipients: “It feels disrespectful to discard family items.” Your loved ones are in your heart and memories . . . not in physical things. You can still respect their memory even though you don’t own their things. “Mom is expecting me to keep all Grandma’s things—it almost feels like I promised her I would.” Circumstances change. It’s okay to reassess promises. You’re now in a better position to know what does and doesn’t fit in your home and decide accordingly. “I just know someone in the family will be mad at me if I let go of any family stuff.” Family is about relationships—not stuff. Communicate with loved ones about your need to declutter. Make the things you can’t keep available to them. If they don’t want or can’t take those items, let them know that’s okay, but you can’t either and are going to have to find a better place to pass them on to. The answer isn’t just sucking it up and keeping everything. But it doesn’t have to be dropping everything off at the nearest thrift store either. Instead, step back and identify the things you truly want to keep. Ask yourself if you have room for them. If you do but space is tight, consider letting go of something you already have to make room for the “new” heirloom. #EmptyNest #TooMuchStuff #Declutter #ClutterFree https://lnkd.in/eQKSyzzR
