Change Alchemist - Guiding women to Quiet the Noise, Conquer Overwhelm, Trust Their Inner Voice, and Create a Life Aligned with Who They Truly Are
✨ Trust is the cornerstone of any strong relationship, whether it's personal or professional. Without it, connections crumble, communication breaks down, and progress stalls. It's like trying to build a house on sand – without a solid foundation, it's bound to collapse. Trust fosters a sense of safety and security, allowing us to open up, be vulnerable, and collaborate effectively. It enables us to take risks, knowing we have a support system to catch us if we fall. It's the glue that holds us together, creating bonds that withstand the tests of time and challenges. In a world where scepticism and uncertainty often prevail, cultivating trust is more crucial than ever. It requires honesty, transparency, and consistency in our actions. It's about demonstrating reliability, keeping our promises, and showing up for those who depend on us. Because when trust is present, anything is possible. 💛
One of my favorite books on trust is “The Thin Book of Trust,” by Charles Feltman. His definitions so beautifully capture what emerged from our data on trust. The third edition of the book is available now — very much worth the read!

✨ If I could give one piece of advice to new client partners, it’s this: focus on building and keeping trust with your clients. ✨ Trust is the foundation of every great relationship, and clients need to know they can rely on you, no matter what. Charles Feltman’s book on trust gave me the perfect way to explain this—it’s not just for clients, but for everyone around us. When we approach relationships with integrity and care, whether with colleagues, friends, or our community, there’s no limit to what we can achieve. 🌍🚀 #Trust #ClientPartnership #RelationshipBuilding #Leadership

This definition on Trust resonates with me as a leadership coach. When my clients willingly unpack their narratives in the coaching conversation, giving me permission to go deep into their thoughts and emotions, it's a demonstration of the safe space they've found with me. These are the moments that validate me as a coach bringing more meaning to the work that I do.

Trust is so critical to change and transformation of people and organisations. Change in organisations >>means change for the individuals. As people, we don’t like change done to us. When we can’t control the change, we feel vulnerable and emotions like fear and anxiety can easily become players in our mind and hamper our willingness to change. Change in Individuals implies that a measure of vulnerability is needed and that is where trust comes in. I find the research on trust that Brene Brown has done to be really meaningful. I also subscribe to this simple definition of trust by Charles Feltman. “Trust is choosing to risk making something we value vulnerable to another person’s actions.” Building change competency in an organisation implies building trust in the organisation. That takes time, effort and countless little and big actions. I believe that choosing to be intentional about building trust should be part of an organisations DNA. Thinking about decisions, actions and impact should be part of the way we show up. Trust is core to great leadership, great cultures and great relationships. In todays world where change is fast, complexity is growing and the future is highly digital yet very human, I believe that trust is a fast becoming core to success. #DigitalTransformation #Change #PeopleMatter

Trust is a critical element when asking people to change, particularly at work. Research shows only 1 in 5 employees trusts their leadership. Leaders can help overcome that distrust with words and behavior that show true care for workers' wellbeing and development. Great read!
