June is #HomeownershipMonth and this recent article from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) shares how homebuyers are willing to give up land in exchange for homeownership. Many homebuyers are prioritizing affordability and are open to smaller living spaces. This trend presents an opportunity for both potential homeowners and renovation experts. Here are some takeaways: - When transforming smaller spaces into highly functional and beautiful homes. Think smart storage solutions, clever space planning, and creating a seamless flow. - Smaller homes often mean less wasted space. Renovations that prioritize energy-efficient features, saves homeowners money on utilities in the long run. - Even in a compact space, luxury is possible! Incorporate high-quality finishes, smart technology, and design elements that create a feeling of comfort and style. Thinking of downsizing or buying a smaller home? Don't be discouraged! With the right renovations, you can achieve your dream home, even in a more compact footprint. P.S. Realtor®️ I am a full service Realtor serving clients in the Pacific Northwest with their purchasing and selling needs. 🔑 🏡
There are 2️⃣ common hurdles many buyers are experiencing today, higher interest rates and home prices. At the same time, there are still fewer homes available for sale to meet buyer demand. There are, however, ways to overcome these things, and still make homeownership a reality in 2024. It starts out with being strategic and taking a close look at what features you really need in your next home versus which ones are nice to have. This will help you avoid over extending your budget and limiting your pool of options. As I work with buyers, we discuss making a list to organize must haves, nice to haves and dream state. This way we have more options and can focus on finding the things that you can’t change such as location or in some instances a certain number of rooms and then we can focus on what you can upgrade or add as far as features or finishes later on. What I have found is that the perfect home is often times the one you perfect after buying it. If you need help refining your list to find a home that meets your top needs with today’s limited housing supply, let’s connect and get strategic in finding a home that meet your needs while staying within your budget. 360-420-6807

We have all become familiar with online home valuations. This is a great example of how dangerous it can be to rely on those. In this case, basic information is wrong. The house actually has 5 bedrooms and 3,000 sqft of living space. Also Zillow cannot determine the condition of the home and uses a simple radius to define comps regardless of things such as, neighborhood and school boundaries also the proximity to freeways, major arteries and commercial areas etc. This home's value should be in excess of 2 million, pocketing the homeowner almost approximately $200,000 more! If you would like to know your home's actual value, let me know and I will bring you a reliable home valuation. No strings attached. #RandyInTheNeighborhood #RealEstatewithRandy
