Changing Lives & Challenging the Status Quo. My mission is to disrupt the physical therapy industry and save more rescue dogs. I am the CEO of Apex and the mom of 3 legged rescue, PT the Dog.
The cost 💲 of getting trained is out of proportion to the pay 💰. (Fortune Well) I believe that if Private Practice PT is going to survive, the market must be disrupted. That is our plan for 2024. I'm watching and waiting to see what you do🙌🏻
First step is to stop accepting low paying contracts. We blame the insurance companies but we are actually doing it to ourselves.
👍 let’s see what you do
I agree. What’s your plan for disruption?
We should unionize and all demand raises and better benefits (like teachers, nurses, etc) Individually we have very little power, but, collectively, we have more leverage! Currently, have ZERO leadership!!
Like a class action lawsuit for unfair business practices with reimbursement below loving standards and another for universities for charging costs above the earning potential. A PT practice owner, should never have to have a side hustle to make ends meet. If you own a practice, you honestly don't have time for a side hustle.

10moWhat do you mean the market must be disrupted? In order for private practices to thrive, I recommend the following: 1. offer cash based services 2. offer ancillary services such as personal training 3. owner of a PT practice must have a side hustle or side gig 4. need to branch out from the norm of what the industry is doing Make sense?
