Taking a moment today to celebrate my topmate.io journey 🚀 It's been an incredible ride filled with growth, learning, and most importantly, the opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives. 🌱 To everyone who's been a part of this journey, whether through collaboration, learning, or simply being a supportive presence, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. 🙏 Your encouragement and enthusiasm have been the fuel that kept me going. 💪 I remember the one data career consulting session I had with Emmanuel Nnadi He was had questions about what was required to make the transition into the data analytics space I shared with him anecdotes from my own personal experiencing transitioning from a warehouse worker to data analytics. One thing that stood out to him from his testimonial is having clarity to know what is required to bridge the knowledge gap as opposed to just doing trial and error He also shared that one major take away was the importance of personal branding and how felt empowered to build his own personal brand. Fast forward a couple of months down the line and Emmanuel was able to take a step closer to his data career goals as he joined RBC as Corporate Actions Officer One major lesson from our discussion was to follow unconventional methods in an unconventional job market Though he hasn't achieved his goal yet he feels he is making progress as he is more exposed to data analytics tasks at his new role at a company that support his career goals. Here's to embracing every milestone, big or small, and to the countless more adventures ahead! Here's to impacting many more lives through giving back to the community

Shoutout to engineers in leadership! Dr. Fuchs was the President of UF for most of my undergraduate career, having preceded Dr. Sasse’s short tenure. I discussed in the Alligator some concerns on the future of AI policy at UF. UF has made great strides, promising strides but seemed unclear in what precisely we were doing as an AI university. I hope UF undergoes a comprehensive search. I look forward, as an alumni, to seeing who the next president is. I hope it is someone from the world of STEM like Fuchs is, as UF is a leading university in research — especially making breakthroughs through the College if Medicine, Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, and my former department, the J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering. Strong AI and science-oriented policy and research funding will be essential to UF’s growth. #AI #UF #Florida #Gators #Science #STEM

I wholeheartedly believe this and try to practice it…and even better than fun is enjoyment. A task or activity can be enjoyable and fun and still be work. My degree is in journalism, the way that has transferred to my sales career and even the way I sales coach is in being curious! I’m not actually a Sales Coach, I’m a Detective! It shows up in the way I enjoy the discovery phase when meeting with a new prospect or even the way I approach prospecting. “WHAT can I find out” “WHERE else can I look, have I used all the resources and tools available to me to learn more about the prospect” “WHO do I know that may know the prospect that can give me insights” I will happily go down the rabbit hole and its fun to ME. One of my first questions when I’m coaching a rep is to ask them what aspect of the role/industry they enjoy…what about the job do they consider to be fun…this is a great foundation for understanding not just what motivates them but what may be missing from the team or company culture! As we wrap up the week, one thing stands out, and I'm incredibly grateful for it today: Team. Your team is everything. Be thankful for them. Take the time to let them know. And if you work for or with someone who doesn’t do this, quit and go find someone who will. You deserve to be a part of a great team. You can go very fast alone, and slowing down to define things and get everyone aligned is hard work. But it’s the work you have to do to go far. It may feel frustrating and slow, but it’s what builds legacies. It’s what allows you to pass on generational wealth and success. For those who know me, I like to go fast, so slowing down is hard. But I’ve learned that the journey is more rewarding when you go far together. Let’s build something lasting, something meaningful. Here's to the teams that make it all possible.
