Fishing with Kids: Introducing Them Early by Bethany Beathard “Reel it in, keep going, and pull up your rod!” I yelled as I hurried down the bank of the pond! Anytime one of my kids catches a fish; it is a moment of excitement. Emotions flood the air, and each fish deserves its own congratulatory shore party. Fishing outings bring on many emotions, such as eagerness and anticipation. Although, they can also be accompanied by frustration, and often impatience can be a challenge, especially with younger children. Fishing, in general, provides its own challenges, add children to the mix, and there may be an opportunity for chaos. However, introducing fishing to kids early on can produce a life-long fisher or angler. Read more on Everest News.

New Post: Pasturs 2023 - https://lnkd.in/dUmQHt9j summer, as part of action C6.2, we tested the Pasturs project model in Trentino, at Malga Tuena. The main objectives of this action are twofold: the first is to offer shepherds and breeders who adopt preventive measures concrete help during the mountain pasture season. Important for breeders people Don't spoil the very hard and excellent work you have done during rearing period : All of us as parent people know very well that excellent performances during the production period depends on what are rearing people doing during the rearing period, so it means that the production period is an extension of the rearing period . At the end of the rearing period we have pullets birds of excellent uniformity, ideal bodyweight and very healthy birds but we should have to remember that those pullets are in 3 groups 'small ,medium and large' but actually all of them have the same bodyweight only differ in the feed grams. thus this point is very very important and it must be considered at time of shifting of the birds to the production farm . You must collect all the birds of the small from all houses of rearing and housed them in one or houses there in the production farm then do the same for medium and large otherwise you will spoil what was done in the rearing period and by this way you will punish the small group ( by feed reduction) and you will damage the birds uniformity (the large group gets more feed). So by this way the performances will be affected, I the eggs production and peak as well. At the end don't mix the groups in the production farm.

The Road to Good Horsemanship is paved with Education As more and more people are beginning to question the landscape of equestrian activities, being able to have elevated levels of conversation will be essential for problem solving and prioritizing horse welfare. Important topics for owners and equine professionals to understand should surely be recognition of a healthy topline, basic saddle fit, basic hoof care, bit/bridle fit, behavior and an ongoing journey on how horses can be set up to carry us without being compromised. The implications of making the wrong decisions, although not always avoidable, can be significant. The more we know, the more we can prevent and problem solve before issues become chronic. Join us next week for our monthly webinar, presented by the fantastic Dr. Martina Neidhart, where you can learn and ask questions about the topic of kissing spines. https://lnkd.in/ef6ZSaGQ #horses #horsewelfare #wholehorse #wholerider #onlineeducation #evidence #research #equitopia
