Why do product managers make terrible chefs? 👨🍳👩🍳 . . . . Because they can never finish a 'sprint' without adding more 'features' to the recipe!" Humorously combining product management terminology with cooking, highlighting the tendency to keep refining and improving, even when it comes to cooking. 🍽️😄 #productmanagement #sprint #cooking #product101

Have you folks ever noticed that there’s an actual note written in the “memo” emoji on iOS? 📝📝📝 The Google, Samsung, Microsoft, and Twitter versions depict a piece of paper with illegible writing. ✍️ However, Apple version of the emoji features a piece of paper with quotes from Apple’s “Here’s to the Crazy Ones” advertising campaign created by Steve Jobs which goes like this👨🏾💻 “Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things” 🥇🏆 That’s how you set a standard for “Attention to detail” in product development. 🚀 #productdesign #product #apple #ios

I was today years old when I found out that the icon for Voice Memos App is a waveform representation of the word “Apple.” 🍎📱 The level of thought gone behind the process of product dev at Apple is insane. 🤓 #iOS #apple #designcommunity #productdevelopment

"Microsoft's first major acquisition was for $400 Million, but it wasn't a software or hardware company?" 🤔🤑 In 1997, Microsoft made its first major acquisition, and it was an email service. Microsoft purchased Hotmail, the web-based email service, for a whopping $400 million. This strategic move allowed Microsoft to enter the rapidly growing internet and email space, laying the groundwork for its future ventures in online services and communication platforms. Hotmail, later rebranded as Outlook.com, became a cornerstone in Microsoft's evolution as a tech giant. 💻📧💰 #TechHistory #microsoft #outlook #hotmail #techstrategy

How are Lego Bricks and Google related? In its early days, Google's founders, Larry Page and Sergey Brin, couldn't afford a traditional server room. So, they ingeniously used Lego bricks to construct their first server rack. The founders used the colorful plastic bricks to construct a makeshift server enclosure. This unique choice was driven by budget constraints and the need for an easily expandable and customizable solution. The Lego server rack had practical benefits. The modular nature of Lego bricks allowed for easy adjustments and expansions as Google's computing needs grew. It embodied the startup spirit of doing more with less, emphasizing creativity over traditional infrastructure. This colorful, makeshift solution highlighted Google's early commitment to innovation, adaptability, and doing more with less. 🖥️🔧🧱 #TechHistory #google #lego #techtuesday
