PH plays a significant role in fermentation, influencing enzyme activity and microbial growth. OptimOH reduces the use of corrosive chemicals within the fermentation process by facilitating necessary pH changes and preventing biofilm formation. Effectively reducing bacteria preserves essential sugars for complete fermentation and lowers levels of organic acids, which, if unchecked, could stress yeast and hinder fermentation.
