We measure feed quality in two buckets — nutritional quality and feed form. Feed producers recognize the struggle between achieving throughput objectives and improving pellet quality. The benefits of high-quality pellets extend beyond the feed mill to impact animal performance directly. For example, 1.5 points of feed conversion at the current market value represents a savings of $1.5m in a 2 million bird/week operation. So, how do you accomplish superior pellet quality without compromising the demand for daily mill tonnage? Join Technical Director, Jose Ramirez, during the Poultry Science Association Annual Meeting July 15-18th as he discusses the impact of feed form on bird performance and how to reach PDI standards efficiently.
