I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: medicinal chemistry! Medicinal chemistry involves the identification, synthesis and development of new chemical entities suitable for therapeutic use. This course gave me a in depth knowledge of how drugs are discovered by design and synthesis of biologically active molecules to meet unmet medical needs. #medicinalchemistry #drugdiscovery

It’s inspiring to think of the recognition and appreciation this beautiful artwork will receive as society moves beyond racial discrimination. ❤️❤️
You deserve some flowers today. 🫱 Share these blooms with your mom, courtesy of artist Charles Ethan Porter. #HappyMothersDay 🌸 #AboutTheArtist Charles Ethan Porter was a 19th-century American artist who has often been left out of the history books. Even though he was a talented painter, he is not as well-known as some of his contemporaries. One reason is because Porter mainly painted still lifes (a genre that was often undervalued during his time). Another reason is that he faced discrimination because of his race. Born in the 1840s, racial discrimination made it difficult for Porter to receive recognition. He had to exceed cruel expectations to make a name for himself. In a letter he wrote this his friend Mark Twain in 1883, Porter expressed his desire to show that African Americans were “capable the same as other men.” Conscious of his place in an art world dominated by white men, he was eager to show what he, and other Black artists, could do. __ 🖼 Charles Ethan Porter, “Peonies in a Vase,” 1885, oil on canvas, Gift of William and Abigail Gerdts 🎥 Video by Rino Stefano Tagliafierro

Ancestral Wisdom is a Gold Mine 🙏 Reflecting on my recent weekend this month. I connected with amazing individuals and gained valuable insights into the significance of prioritising our health. From yoga to mindful eating, every aspect contributes to our well-being. 😇 One traditional element often overlooked is the cookware we use. While modern conveniences like stainless steel and non-stick pans offer convenience, they may compromise our health. Returning to our roots with stone, mud, iron, or bronze cookware may require extra care, but the health benefits make it worthwhile. Let’s embrace the wisdom of our ancestors for a healthier lifestyle!❤️ Thankyou #mywellnessgame and #soapstonecookware-kalchatti for such insightful session. #HealthyLiving #TraditionalCookware #wellnessretreat

Risk and Art merge: "Just had a spontaneous burst of creativity on a lazy Sunday afternoon! 🎨 While everyone else was napping, I couldn't resist the urge to paint my white textured wall. 😊 Despite the fear of messing it up, I took the plunge and voila! My very first wall painting was born. 💫 Sometimes, you just have to embrace the risk for the sake of art. #ImpromptuArt #CreativityUnleashed" #flashback #wallart

🎨✨ Reflecting on an unforgettable journey at the Museum of Art and Photography, Bengaluru, as they celebrated their 1st year anniversary! ✨🎨 Stepping into the realm of artistic brilliance, I had the absolute pleasure of immersing myself in the breathtaking exhibition, “The Book Of Gold” - The Kanchan Chitra Ramayan of Banaras. With a staggering collection of 548 miniature paintings, the exhibition offered a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Indian heritage and culture. Guided through the intricate narratives and intricate details of each painting, I found myself transported through time and space, unraveling the timeless tales of the Ramayana depicted with unparalleled beauty and finesse. Amongst the vast collection, nearly 80 of these masterpieces were thoughtfully curated and displayed, each a testament to the craftsmanship and artistic prowess of the creators. As I marveled at the meticulous strokes and vibrant hues, I couldn't help but feel a deep sense of appreciation for the preservation of our cultural legacy. My heartfelt gratitude goes out to the Museum of Art and Photography for curating such a mesmerizing experience and providing a platform for art enthusiasts like myself to connect with our roots. Cheers to many more years of celebrating art, culture, and creativity! 🙌🖼️ #MAPBengaluru #ArtAppreciation #CulturalHeritage #MagicalExperience #MuseumAnniversary 🎉
