Job Description:
As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our Azure cloud infrastructure. Leveraging your extensive experience and expertise in Azure services, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud-based systems. You will be responsible for driving the adoption of best practices, optimizing performance, and automating processes to streamline operations.
*MUST HAVE Skills: Azure Services, Azure Biceps, ARM, Cloud, Azure CLI, Excellent communication skills, Scripting language.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement highly available and scalable Azure cloud solutions to meet business requirements.
Architect and deploy Azure services including but not limited to Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Biceps, ARM, Cloud Azure, Azure CLI, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Networking.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure proactive issue detection and resolution.
Design and implement security controls, identity management, and compliance measures to protect data and ensure regulatory compliance.
Automate deployment, configuration, and management tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.
Perform regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and optimization of Azure resources.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
7+ years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience with Azure.
Strong understanding of Azure services and architectures, including networking, security, storage, and compute.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of DevOps principles and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Certifications:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent certification preferred.
Additional Azure certifications such as Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Azure Security Engineer Associate are a plus.
