We're working with Hybrid Consulting to do some mapping aimed at helping us understand who is doing what to improve #equality, #diversity, and #inclusion in the paid #environment sector in the UK. Please share your insights and complete this short survey: https://lnkd.in/gf4Q_aUk Through this work, we want to improve the experience of people from underrepresented backgrounds that are working or would like to work in the sector. Hybrid are looking for examples of best practice and innovative initiatives to increase the diversity of the workforce. They're particularly interested in: - Entry points for more diverse people to find work in the sector, for example careers advice, placements, targeted recruitment. - Facilitating progression and the talent pipeline, for example mentoring, fellowships and leadership programmes, job platforms, support networks. - Removing barriers, for example consultancy support to employers, good practice webinars, celebrating progress, training for HR professionals, community of practice. The closing date for responses is 3 July.

Esmée Fairbairn Foundation is excited to launch Blue Spaces - Wales! We’re looking to support ideas and projects in Wales that take an imaginative approach to engage people in protecting and restoring their local freshwaters including rivers, streams, lake, canals and ponds. We’re particularly interested in unusual alliances and partnerships working to improve freshwater habitats and work that has benefits for people and communities. We’re offering grants of £10,000 to £60,000 to support organisations to develop their ideas. Applications are open from 21 March to 2 May. As the UK’s largest funder of heritage, our friends over at National Lottery Heritage Fund are calling for public opinion on how their future funding should be spent. With a new ambitious vision for the UK’s heritage, National Lottery Heritage Fund, are asking for help to shape how they can continue to make a difference for the UK’s rich and diverse heritage, by completing their heritage fund survey.  Ann Rooney, head of grants and trusts at the Woodland Trust, said: “The support from National Lottery Heritage Fund for our landscapes and natural heritage is vital and delivers so much. Over £25m of grants have enabled the Woodland Trust to protect and restore ancient trees and woods, deliver landscape-scale projects like Glen Finglas, and provide valuable natural spaces for people and wildlife such as Smithills and Hainault Forest: needed now more than ever.” You can help us to keep landscapes and nature at the top of their funding priorities by taking part in their survey https://lnkd.in/ebfp5R8y by 5 September 2022.
