🎄 This Christmas, my wish is simple: I hope more people find the courage to share their stories. The holidays are the perfect time for storytelling—whether it’s over dinner, by the Christmas tree, or during quiet moments together. Yet, so often, the stories that matter most remain untold. But here’s the truth: your story matters. Whether it’s a childhood memory, a hard-earned lesson, or a moment of joy, sharing your story brings connection and meaning. And it’s not just about your story—listening to the stories of others is its own kind of gift. Here’s my Christmas wish for you: 🎁 Share a story over the holidays with your family. 🎁 Reflect on moments that shaped you this year. 🎁 Ask your loved ones to share their stories, too. ✨ What’s a story you wish your family would share this year? P.S. Imagine if every family gathering this year ended with a story that brought everyone closer. What’s a story you’re hoping to hear this Christmas? #whatsyourstory #storytelling #christmaswishes

Merry Christmas Anna! Hope you’re having a meaningful holiday! 💛
Merry Christmas & Happy New Year, Anna
Thank you for this beautiful invitation Anna Ong! Most of the time, I think when I share stories, I take too much time and ask people to focus on me. Instead, I prefer to ask questions and listen to their stories. In the context of family, I used to ask my parents, aunts, and uncles to share how they did particular things in the past. In a certain way I believe they have more to share. When I read I your words: “your story matters” I felt something special inside and a wonderful encouragement to tell/share my stories.
Great insights, Anna Ong. I would add that sharing stories can also create a sense of belonging and strengthen family bonds. It's a beautiful way to celebrate togetherness during the holidays.
