Let me take you back to childhood for a moment... As part of my 111 day challenge, I created a paper countdown with 111 rings (see picture below). The process of making it took me back to elementary school, when we spent mornings with safety scissors rolling strips of construction paper into interlocking rings. Ours were created to count down the end of school or until a certain holiday, if I remember correctly. This is just one thing I do to keep myself accountable to my goals…more on that to come. Today’s day 5 of the 111 day challenge, which is where we spend the remaining days of 2024 (111 as of last Thursday!) taking at least one step every day toward a big goal. The rings are also a good visual representation of just how much of the year remains (aka, it’s never too late to start something new or make this year yours). Did you ever make one of these in elementary school? Remember any other fun craft projects you did as a kid?
