"A.I. is amazing!" Do we even know what we are doing? How can species such as us: as ignorant, corrupt and misguided as us create a newly separate and different being using our data, which is essentially our collective perspective of reality, hope to do so and end up with that being as altruistic? This is madness! Full video at https://lnkd.in/d5ZkUjWW
Creating a new species called A.I. is self destructive.

What Do Reusable Rockets🚀 and Reusable DNA🧬 Have in Common? I continue to have my mind blown by the achievements of SpaceX and its complete redefinition of what is possible in the space industry. Their lynchpin technology, as we all know, are reusable rockets—standardized systems that launch, return, launch again; reusing standard components; finding modular and efficient ways to keep escaping the gravity well; etc. The cost and time savings are obvious, but it did something I would argue is much more important - it completely changed the way the space industry thinks about accessing space and opened up doors few ever thought would open or even existed. I can't help but now make the bold claim: I think this is the mindset that hasn't reached the gene and cell therapy industry yet - and we desperately need a "frameshift". Nearly everything in biotech begins with DNA, and the only way you can "get" DNA is to build it. Today, DNA vector construction is artisanal - often a one-off process: 1. New design 2. Build/synthesize from scratch 3. Repeat for each research need But there are severe limitations: how many times we had to constantly redesign, recreate, resynthesize sequences? How many times have your sequences been rejected for being too complex? How many times have you been told that what you're trying to achieve is impossible? This is all tied to a lack of standardization and a dearth of new technologies. This is my point: DNA is foundational to biotech like rockets are foundational to space exploration/travel. SpaceX redefined the paradigm because they redefined rockets. Now is the time to redefine the paradigm for DNA design and vector construction. #BirdOfPrey is here to do just that. Why Crows Are as Smart as 7-Year-Old Humans! Prepare to be amazed as we delve into the extraordinary intelligence of birds, particularly crows and parrots! 🦜 In this video, we explore how these feathered geniuses showcase cognitive abilities that rival many mammals, such as tool use, problem-solving, and intricate social structures. Discover how brain complexity, rather than size, empowers birds to perform astounding feats, from navigating vast landscapes to crafting sophisticated nests. We'll also highlight fascinating experiments revealing crows’ problem-solving skills, social intelligence, and even potential self-awareness. This deep dive will challenge traditional views on animal cognition and inspire awe for our avian companions. Don't forget to like and share this video to spread the wonder! 🌍✨ https://lnkd.in/gxAfAAt2

What's the craziest thing you've seen scientists do to study animal minds? From building an escape room for hermit crabs to an insomnia machine that keeps bees awake, researchers are getting wildly creative to crack nature's cognitive mysteries. In an effort to understand animal psychology, scientists are designing whimsical yet ingenious DIY contraptions tailored to their study species' behaviors and minds. Whether it's a custom "innovation box" for testing problem-solving skills in falcons or an eye-tracking device that reveals what captures a jumping spider's gaze, these homemade experiments offer insights we'd never glimpse through store-bought equipment. It's a wild world of science that combines curiosity, imagination, and a bit of quirky fun. #AnimalMinds #CreativeScience #NaturesMysteries
