'I've been passionate about technology for as long as I can remember, and upon completion of my A-Levels I decided a degree apprenticeship would be the best way for me to pursue my interests both in and out of the classroom. The apprenticeship offers the best of both worlds - a comprehensive university experience covering all the foundations of cyber security, as well as a wealth of opportunities in the workplace to help me put what I learn on the course into practice, as well as build on my broader transferrable skills. Meet the Team: Konrad Thomson, 3CT Security, Apprentice Cyber Consultant 👋 You’ve likely seen his name pop up. Now, we're giving YOU the chance to get to know our very FIRST graduate, inside and out: Konrad’s early interest in cyber security originated from the subjects he studied when completing his A-Levels whilst at Sixth Form, which were Computer Science ⌨ , Maths 🔢 and Physics 🧠 . Konrad has been programming since his GCSE’s and has always fostered a interest in this area. 🖥 ⌨ Konrad signed up for CADS whilst he was in Sixth Form which he used as a platform to learn, network and further his skills. During this time Konrad met our CEO and Co-Founder Cameron, who was leading CADS at the time in Malvern. Konrad demonstrated a keen desire in undertaking an apprenticeship vs going to university 👨🎓 , as he believed this to be a better route to develop soft skills, gain high-fidelity industry experience, and become an expert in his area. 🌱 Fast forward to 3CT Security, where Konrad seized the opportunity with both hands, boldly approaching Cameron to request an apprenticeship. This role allows him to build advanced skills and further his development while applying the knowledge he's gaining from the Cyber Security Technical Professional Degree in real-world scenarios.🛡 “Apprenticeships are a great way to start your career early in an industry.
