We’re proud to highlight recently held site visit to Municipality of Grosuplje, where partners delved into the future of public transport with a focus on Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) and its integration with regular services. 🚍🌿 The Municipality of Grosuplje, alongside Ljubljana's Transport Institute (PIL) and LPP bus operator (Ljubljana Public Passenger Transport), shared insights into the unique challenges of maintaining efficient transport services during off-peak hours. The collaborative discussions centred on innovative solutions that don't compromise service quality while addressing the need for cost-effective operations. Grosuplje's transport infrastructure was explored, engaging with the community and understanding the local dynamics that influence public transport usage. 🏘️🚌 The OPTI-UP project is committed to redefining urban mobility, and Grosuplje's approach to combining regular and DRT services is a testament to the adaptive strategies we're championing. 🛣️💡 #InterregEurope #OPTIUP #sustainabletransport #Grosuplje #DRT #urbanmobility #innovation
