The Working Genius for Students assessment was created to provide a fast and simple way for 14-20 year olds to discover their gifts and thrive in school and life. Here’s what one student had to say after taking the assessment: “It’s so good to talk about things I’m good at for once. It feels like much of my life was spent trying to fix my failures.” - Jacen We’re committed to helping more students like Jacen find what brings them joy, energy, & fulfillment. If you’re a parent, teacher, or coach, take advantage of your student being around a little more this summer. Send them the assessment and have a conversation about their WG results. ➡ Buy & Send the Assessment: https://lnkd.in/exACiQqB ➡ Use the Discussion Guide (found in the comments) to help guide the conversation.

Questioning takes the familiar and makes it mysterious again, thus removing the comfort of “knowing”. Today, in preparation for an upcoming workshop on questioning, I stumbled upon this thought-provoking quote by Julia Brodsky, a contributor to Forbes magazine. It struck a chord as to why students often find it challenging to question rather than merely providing answers. It is often so much more comforting to 'know', therefore active and thought-provoking questions take students out of their comfort zone. Looking forward to incorporating this valuable insight into my workshop to inspire a culture of active inquiry among students!
