Ansys Sherlock for Predicting Product Lifetime With electronic components being used in harsher and more remote environments than they ever have before, predicting their operating lifetimes to prepare for maintenance or calculate warranty costs is critical. Ansys Sherlock is the only physics-based reliability design software that provides fast and accurate product longevity predictabilition for electronic hardware (components, boards and systems) to mitigate thermal, mechanical and manufacturing risks.

Did you know that Ansys Sherlock + Ansys Mechanical can be used to model and simulate Flexible and Rigid-Flex PCBs? Users can simulate complex installation steps, operational conditions, and better understand the influence of key input parameters (such as bend radius) on the reliability of their boards.
