At DRD, we've been busy updating our technical Ansys videos on our Youtube channel. Kevin Adams demonstrates Ansys Mechanical solution restart capabilities to predict snap-through buckling on a curved, thin shell structure. Kevin overcomes convergence problems by restarting from the last converged solution and activating stabilization energy. Good Afternoon, I tried to optimizing mesh for the simulation on ANSYS Mechanical I just wonder, how can i make the "A" area have better and more detailed mesh, not only in faces, also the volume inside of that area have more detailed mesh too, other than that area we can simplify using standard/coarse mesh since we assume the other area not critical Actually it possible to make all area more proper and detail, but surely it will consume lot of time, i have seen the people doing it, and not sure how to set it If there are suggestion how to generate that type of mesh, i would love to discuss and happy to share the solutions in this post Have a good day, Thanks #ansys #ansysmechanical #simulation
