A message to all the applicants! Dear Psychologists, There is a fair chance that your application has reached me personally and I am grateful for your interest. It's overwhelming to see so many applications and heartbreaking that we can not respond to each one of those. I know It's hard to get a job as a fresher, but it doesn't need to be. I'd like to add my two cents! I feel a moral obligation to share the inside view of why your application was not selected. Getting an interview is not a success, the real success would be to thrive in your career. I have been thinking about doing this for a while and I think it's long overdue. I would like to share insights and answer some of your questions and help you become wiser with your application and stand out. Let me know if some of you would like to get on a virtual meeting! This is first for me and I am truly excited to meet you all. PS: Stop typing "Interested" it doesn't help you, but only those who want visibility of their posts at the cost of your hope! #psychology #hiring #job #counselingpsychology #psychologists #recruitment #career #aspiring #success

4moI am really happy to see the efforts being made to support candidates and provide valuable feedback. I acknowledge your honesty and perseverance in going the extra mile.Recently, I have given many interviews and requested feedback on not being selected. While not being selected isn't the issue, the opportunity to learn directly from feedback is a blessing. In the past, I struggled with losing confidence when I didn't know why I wasn't chosen. Not receiving feedback made me unfairly take the burden of rejection upon myself, leading to self-doubt and trauma. However, through giving multiple interviews, I learned resilience and grew from these experiences. What you are doing is incredibly valuable, and I deeply appreciate it.
