If you’re looking for a new podcast and interested in nuclear energy, look no further than Age of Miracles. Antares co-founder and President Julia DeWahl partnered up with the esteemed Packy McCormick to launch Age of Miracles, Season 1: Nuclear Energy. Episode 5 goes deep on advanced reactor development and covers the founders and investors behind many of the nuclear startups out there, including Antares, Zeno Power, Oklo, Aalo Atomics, and more. In the most recent bonus episode featuring Jordan Bramble, Julia, Packy and Jordan chat about how to break into the nuclear industry, what it means to build an MVP reactor, and why start with the defense market. On both episodes you’ll hear about reactor design choices, regulatory and supply chain hurdles, go to market strategy, and so much more about bringing these concepts to reality, or as the godfather of nuclear, Admiral Rickover, would say: "from paper reactors to practical reactors."

Antares President and Co-Founder Julia DeWahl participated in a panel at Idaho National Laboratory on the challenges and opportunities for microreactor developers as part of INL’s recent Venture Capital Summit. INL is indispensable to the development of advanced nuclear and it was powerful for the VC community to better understand what's possible when private industry partners with the best of our national labs. Thank you for hosting us John Wagner, Jess Gehin, Justin Coleman, and Aaron Weston, and to Pete Mathias for bringing us all together!

Antares applauds Representatives Wittman and Kiggans' leadership in reinforcing the need for micro nuclear reactors to "provide durable power to military facilities, long-range missile defense systems, and command and control centers" and more in INDOPACOM and other contested logistics environments where U.S. forces are operating. INDOPACOM leadership continues to champion this priority, and we look forward to such congressional support advancing the Pacific's operational requirements in FY25 and beyond. #antares #nuclearenergy #nuclearpower #ace #INDOPACOM https://lnkd.in/gqZbHyGi
