Hey Family, As we wrap up 2024, I’ve been reflecting on this year—the wins, the lessons, the stretching moments, and the undeniable grace of God that’s carried us through. It’s been a year of building and sowing seeds—both in our lives and in the lives of others. Through MyCare Assistant, we’ve taken bold steps to create solutions, care for the vulnerable, and show up in ways that matter. But honestly? None of this would have been possible without you. Your support, encouragement, and prayers have been fuel for the journey. Thank you. Now, as we look toward 2025, I’m reminded that how we start matters. That’s why I’m hosting The Kingdom Mindset event on January 11, 2025. It’s a space where we’ll align our hearts and minds with God’s vision for the new year—because, let’s face it, we need more than goals and plans. We need clarity, purpose, and a roadmap rooted in His Kingdom principles. We’ll be diving into things like: • Seeing life through the lens of a Kingdom Mindset • Setting bold, God-aligned visions for the year ahead • Learning to live with freedom and generosity • Mapping out a 12-month strategy that blends faith and action Here’s the best part: the ticket price (170,000 Naira) isn’t just for you—it’s for others. Proceeds will go toward offering care to people who need it the most—the elderly, discharged patients, and vulnerable families who deserve love and dignity but can’t afford it. By showing up, you’re sowing into lives that need God’s touch through us. https://lnkd.in/dxdxs8fq So, consider this your personal invitation to start 2025 with power, intention, and purpose. Let’s set the tone for a year of breakthrough, growth, and impact—together. I’m stepping into this new year with expectation, and I want you right there with me. Let’s make it count. With love and so much gratitude, Abiola Hakeemat Ayilara

Resilience: Embracing new realities and possibilities As I reflect on the past year, I am reminded of the incredible strength and resilience we all possess, even in the face of profound challenges. Last December was a time of great upheaval for me, marked by a series of deeply traumatic events. I found myself in the heartbreaking position of being a first responder to my young neighbour’s sudden death, immediately followed by the loss of my beloved horse Moby when I was bedbound during a particularly debilitating bout of flu. The emotional weight of these experiences was compounded not long after by my elderly mother's dementia-related health crisis and near death, which thrust me into an unexpected and complex new chapter in our relationship. Amidst the challenges and pain, this year opened up a new reality for me, one that has been and is filled with hope and possibility. Everything changed for me for reasons I could not control - my routines, my social life and how I felt about myself. I threw myself into work, cut off my long hair and sought out opportunities to build new relationships as well as to find a way to fill the void, finding a way through the trauma. Ian and special friends stepped up to support and help and my boss was amazing. Sharing rather than owning Rosa, a beautiful Andalusian PRE has been transformative - she represented a fresh start and a different perspective on life—one that embraces the excitement at the potential of new beginnings and the joy of connection whilst respecting and building on past experience. Part of the package is a brilliantly supportive new riding friend - Rosa’s owner - we go out with her horse to clinics together and hopefully will start competing at dressage in 2025. In our professional lives, just as in our personal lives, resilience is key. It’s about acknowledging our experiences, accepting that there will be hard times and to learn from them through finding strength in our ability to adapt and grow even if that means having to take a new path involuntarily. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and the lessons I will continue to carry with me. Here’s to embracing the challenges, finding joy and possibilities in life and work and looking forward to what the future holds even though it might be frightening or seemingly impossible when times are tough. The new path may just be even better… All the best for a very happy festive season and 2025! #Resilience #Newbeginnings #Growthmindset #Embracechange

"Wait - don't close that door yet!"..... Last night, we went to a friend's house for New Year's dinner. At midnight, our host rushed to open the back door. "Letting 2024 out," she explained, then opened the front door to "welcome 2025 in." I had never heard of that tradition - have you? It made me smile, thinking about how we all hope for success and health in the year ahead. These kinds of traditions or superstitions have lasted for generations across many cultures: And then there was my scratchcard. A small Christmas gift, sitting in a drawer until New Year’s Eve. Scratching it off made me laugh—because isn’t this just another way we lean on luck? Hoping for something good, something unexpected to fall into our laps. There’s something beautiful about these traditions and rituals. They reflect our deepest human wishes: • To protect what matters most • To believe in the possibility of better things • To feel a little bit of control over tomorrow The hope feels good, and luck sometimes visits. Real transformation, though? It comes from small, deliberate steps. Consistent daily choices. Showing up even when it’s hard. So, whether you’re letting the old year out, scratching for luck, or ringing in the new year with traditions, here’s my wish for you: May 2025 bring you health, happiness, and the strength to begin again. Every single day. Not just January 1st. What traditions will you keep? What changes will you build? Happy New Year! 🎉 #NewYear2025 #NewBeginnings #WellnessJourney

We all want to be remembered for something special; To some legacy is leaving a mark on the world that outlasts us. The question is: What do you want to be remembered for? For others, to be the reason someone smiles, laughs, finds the strength to keep going or show kindness. To be the legacy that inspires generations to come. Legacy is not just about what we leave behind, but about the positive impact we have on others while we're still alive. As I watched a heartwarming video of seniors laughing and playing together, I was reminded that life is precious, and our time is limited. Let's make the most of every moment and prioritize love, kindness, and compassion. Here are 5 key takeaways to help us build a lasting legacy: 1. Life is precious: Make every moment count. 2. Age is just a number: Focus on the journey, not the destination. 3. Joy is contagious: Spread love and laughter wherever you go. 4. Community is key: Surround yourself with people who uplift and support you. 5. Legacy is about how we make others feel: Prioritize kindness and compassion. As Tony Robbins said, "The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing." Let's start building our legacy today, with the time we have, and the people around us. At Padocare we're dedicated to empowering healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional care and make a meaningful impact on patients' lives. Join us in our mission to revolutionize healthcare and leave a lasting legacy. #Legacy #LifeJourney #Kindness #Love #Community #Padocare #OkareCares #MakeADifference #Viral ♻️Repost

Midweek Greetings All! Well, it's the first Wednesday in June of 2024.......... Welcome to the Mid-Week Wednesday Edition of Life Begins at Sunrise. I have spoken in the past about how change affects us as individuals. Thinking about it last night, it amazes me just how much change takes place in our everyday lives. Some we notice, some we never notice. There is or has been change in our health patterns, change in our neighborhood, change in the way we all do business now more technology with AI, change in the political theater, (the reviews are not good). change in our work environments, change in, well there is so much change going on that there is change in change. I have found many people do not like change, many animals despise change, but change is inevitable. Just think about how change affects you as an individual each and every day.Change is constant. Think of it this way: Change your habits so everything is not habit forming; Change your mind and create new thoughts; Change your diet and become healthier; Change your attitude and become more focused. Change your direction and discover new things. So instead of doing the same thing why not beat the pattern and make a change. Afterall it is going to happen eventually. Enjoy this day and what it brings to you because tomorrow it will change and a whole new day of change will take place. Enjoy the change and have a great midweek. OKBYE!

As a woman caregiver, life can feel overwhelming. But gratitude has a way of grounding us, especially in the hard moments. For me, it’s been a way to shift my perspective—not by ignoring the challenges, but by choosing to see the beauty in the small blessings along the way. When life feels overwhelming, gratitude can feel hard. But it’s in those moments that it’s most powerful. It reminds us to pause, breathe, and notice the things that are still good. That’s why I’m inviting you to join the 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟕-𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 starting 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏𝐬𝐭. Together, we’ll spend 7 days reconnecting with the joy, peace, and resilience that gratitude brings—even in the midst of life’s demands. Click the link in the comments to join. Hi friends! I’m sitting on a plane home from Nicaragua, sipping my detox tea, and feeling so incredibly grateful for all of you. This year has been a whirlwind of adventure, family, and wellness, and I couldn’t do it without the trust you’ve put in me as your go-to for gut health, brain power, and all things well-being. As I reflect on 2024, I’m reminded of this favorite quote: "T𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩." – 𝘝𝘪𝘳𝘨𝘪𝘭 It’s so true, isn’t it? Health is the foundation for everything we do—whether it’s hiking volcanoes, raising kids (now scattered across the U.S.!), or gearing up for another year of wellness and adventure. Here’s what I’m carrying into 2025: ✨ Gratitude: For family, health, and the magic of small moments. ✨ Reflection: Turning what we have into enough and embracing new beginnings. ✨ Excitement: For building something amazing together in the New Year. What are you grateful for this season? Let’s make 2025 the year we grow, thrive, and celebrate health together. 💬 Comment below with one thing you’re looking forward to in the New Year! #MerryChristmas #GratitudeJourney #WellnessReflections #HolidayAdventures #GutHealthAndGratitude #2025Goals
