Can AI Robot become your next Corporate Leader? https://lnkd.in/gk_i7u6v Some might have heard the news that China-based NetDragon Websoft named the AI program Tang Yu as its CEO or the Robot CEO Mika by Dictador. Will AI Robot eventually take over the C-Suites and become the Corporate Leaders? While AI and humanoid robot have made significant advancement in recent years, their ability to fully replace human leaders remains a topic of ongoing debate. They could support leadership capabilities, enhance decision-making, and streamline processes, it's unlikely to completely replace human leaders in organisations for several key reasons: Strategic Thinking and Vision: Human leaders provide a long-term vision, strategic direction that AI systems currently lack. AI is unable to analyse the specific organisation environment and provide a contextualised strategic directions to set future goals for the organisation. This requires the job of an experienced and forward-thinking CEO or C-Suite executives. Complex Decision-Making: AI excels at data-driven decisions but struggles with ambiguous, ethical, or creative decisions requiring human judgment, intuition, and experience. Organisation is a complex environment which require experienced leaders to make ethnical decisions. Emotional Intelligence and Empathy: Human leaders understand emotions, empathise with employees, and build relationships, fostering a positive work culture. AI or Robot lack human feelings. Creativity and Innovation: Human leaders drive innovation through intuition, experience, and creative problem-solving, which AI systems often struggle to replicate. In essence, while AI can be a valuable tool for leaders, it is unlikely to completely replace the human elements in leadership. Human Leaders bring the essential personal touch, empathy, and emotional intelligence that AI lacks, which are crucial for effective leadership. Passion is the hallmark of a dedicated leader, something that AI robots, for all their sophistication, can never replicate.

I love seeing posts like this, hammering home the importance of starting with people and culture, and the importance of staring small. In recent client conversations I see the repeat pattern, that so many of AI experts talk about - “hey we have these tools, how could squeeze more out of them?” “hey we want to do some automations, what do you suggest?” a handful of questions deep, turns out that the teams haven’t even developed good habits & mindset, they interact with tools in a google search like manner, and not particularly enthusiastic. This is the ground zero, the first challenge that needs addressing. An other famous adage comes to mind, as I’m writing this post - way back from my agency years: “q: what if we provide training and they leave? a: but what if we don’t, and they stay?” Investing in people’s upskilling & the creation of an AI- native culture is so crucial!
