Ophthopedia Update:BCLA CLEAR Presbyopia – Current learning evidence academic reports: The original BCLA Contact Lens Evidence-based Academic Reports (CLEAR), published in 2021, aimed to be a comprehensive review of the peer reviewed literature across a wide range of contact lens-related topics [1–11]. Papers from this first BCLA CLEAR initiative have been cited over 400 times in total, indicating that they have become an essential reference source in the field. Given this success, in 2022, the Editor-in-Chief of CLAE, Shehzad Naroo, approached Luke Stevens-Burt, CEO of the BCLA, with plans for a new BCLA CLEAR initiative on the topic of Presbyopia. #eye #Ophthalmology #CLAE
