Do you tend to slouch when sitting at your desk? There's a simple process in the Bones for Life® programme I teach that shows you how to let your spine itself find the alignment it needs, so you can 'sit up straight' with ease and comfort. Once you know what you're doing, the process only takes a couple of minutes. And best of all, do it regularly and it will start to become second nature, allowing your spine to become more and more used to finding that alignment for itself, which in turn improves your posture in everything else that you do! There's a link below to a FREE video, where I show you exactly how to do this simple and effective process. And since it's much easier to learn and maintain this when your chair is the right height, I've included a bonus section at the start showing you how to check whether yours is (and showing you a simple hack if it isn't!). Like everything I teach, this process is ultimately about learning to make space - in this case physically, between the vertebrae of your spine. Here's the link to access this short video where I show you how to find your optimum alignment when sitting on a chair. https://lnkd.in/eafWG8QY

Sitting in front of a computer every day can wreak havoc on your body. That's especially true if you don't have an ideal ergonomic set-up (most of us don't), and stay in the same position for hours at a time. This lack of variation, along with hunching the shoulders and an uncomfortable chair, can cause back pain, headaches, tension, and tightness in your back, neck, and shoulders. Studies show that there are many benefits of stretching, including reducing neck and shoulder pain. Plus, regular breaks to stand and stretch increase productivity. Flexibility breaks allow your eyes to rest and your entire body to feel more comfortable.
