🛑 Not only Germany - US and UK Still Arming Israel. Indeed, it isn’t only Germany that sends arms and weapons to Israel but the US and the UK still do the same. This is though the number of killed Palestinians surpassed 100 000 cases, most of them are still under the rubbles as they can’t be removed. This is in addition to very severe and irreversible injuries of various forms of handicaps. President Joe Biden has once again bypassed Congress and got greenlight for an emergency weapons sale to Israel. This has continued to intensify and broaden the attacks on the Gaza Strip, and elsewhere, despite an ever growing international outrage. It is for the second time, the US approved munitions and arms for Israel in continuation of war in Gaza (https://lnkd.in/dznzv6pd). Also to a limited extent the UK continues to send arms to Israel (https://lnkd.in/dAwjTaKu). This is of course in addition to further strikes on Houthi targets in Yemen (https://lnkd.in/djQCA2wJ). So, instead of solving the core problem of the Hamas-Israeli war and finding a sustainable solution for the Palestinian-Israeli crisis. For severel decades, US and its allies continue to deal with the side-symptoms of the apartheid state of Israel in the occupied territories. All of these and the recent armed developments in the wider Middle East region are contributing in the further escalation of the crisis.

Another surreal picture of flag juxtaposition: My hope that Zionists will eventually be deprogrammed is fading by the day. If the German government remains committed to supporting fascism and genocide despite all of the reforms its has undertaken for 7 decades, how long will it take a very robust deprogramming campaign in Israel to successfully rid Zionists of their tendencies to discriminate and dehumanize Palestinians and Arabs, more broadly? In the race for progress in advanced capitalism, in the race for more stuff and status, we have lost touch with the importance of slowing down and carefully evaluating our own governing strategic frameworks and paradigms, and their logic and morality. Just as the use of force is not going to remove Palestinians from their land, the use of force is not a mechanism that should be deployed to compel deprogramming among those afflicted with a Zionist worldview. So, what are the alternative options? Sustained diplomacy, international regimes such as the ICJ leveraging courageous rulings of integrity, and strong leaders with reality check policies for Israel, along with boycott efforts, are some reliable ways to end the madness of the reprehensible slaughter in Gaza, but I'm not sure about mechanisms for deprogramming over the long term in this case. The drawbacks for being programmed have to outweigh the benefits of being programmed. This deprogramming calculus needs ethical promotion and backing from powerful and influential people which are currently in short supply in Israel and among its powerful allies. The Internet as a tool for democracy and helping to ensure that the voices of the masses are heard must be protected because that may be the central mechanism to slowly get Zionists to recognize their authoritarian, ethnocratic, and pariah-stoking tendencies.
