Associate Consultant | ECBA| IIBA and BAAG Member | Senior System Architect | Helping clients improve their business efficiently.
As a business analyst in the fast-paced world of digital transformation in banking, finance, and investment, I’ve found that requirements can shift quickly due to new regulations, organizational changes, or technological advancements. To navigate this, I focus on the following key areas: 1. Understanding Historical Changes: Transparency is crucial. Reviewing past changes, especially those related to the client’s history and previous projects, helps in predicting your client's future changes and impacts. 2. Impact Assessment: Before implementing any change, it’s essential to evaluate its impact on the project’s scope, timeline, resources, and the client’s future needs. This helps in making informed decisions and managing potential risks that could affect the client in the long term. 3. Change Control Processes: Implementing clear, project-specific processes ensures that all changes are documented, reviewed, and approved. It’s important to tailor these processes to fit your project and team while aligning with the project timeline. Effective change control isn’t just about managing updates; it’s about planning ahead, communicating clearly, and ensuring flexible solutions for future needs. #BusinessAnalysis #ChangeControl #DigitalTransformation

Happy Friday to my LinkedIn network! 🎉 After 18 months, my time with Vantage Point Global is coming to an end and I am looking for my next opportunity. I am so grateful to everyone who I’ve worked with so far during my career journey at Vantage Point Global, RTGS.global, and most recently Likezero. I’m reaching out to my network to help connect me with potential exciting new roles in finance. Amidst the current economic malaise and uncertainty, I remain hopeful that I’ll be able to find a role where both the firm and I are a great fit for each other! 🤝 The kinds of opportunities I am seeking are associate and analyst roles in asset management, investment banking, M&A, and anything at that level in a similar space. My ideal role would incorporate a development structure where I could work towards the CFA or a CISI award alongside my daily responsibilities. A quick run-down of my experience so far: ✅ Completed the intensive four-week Vantage Point Global Simul8 BA/PMO training programme. I developed my financial services knowledge to hit the ground running on client site including key project management skills, and also soft skills which included, but were not limited to, functional teamwork, successful stakeholder management, resilience, and formatting and giving presentations. ✅ At RTGS.global, I rubbed shoulders with impressive individuals with decades of experience in banking, sales law, risk management & compliance, marketing, and HR, including the C-suite. I gained a unique perspective of how an intrepid and dynamic start-up functions successfully, and valuable experiences working within so many of these departments to build a next-generation Financial Market Infrastructure. ✅ At Likezero, a market leader in financial services contract intelligence, I have been working to help interpret and analyse clauses from complex OTC derivatives contracts of UK Tier 1 Banks, using an AI-powered platform to automate accurate data capture and assess client exposure as it pertains to counterparty credit risk profiles. Contracts include ISDA Master Agreements, accompanying Credit Support Annexes, and Treasury Master Agreements. I have also led a team of analysts working to classify and match thousands of legal entities to their respective contracts. Please do reach out if you’re currently hiring for a role that would suit an individual like myself, or indeed share this post if you feel like your network could offer some exciting opportunities.
