9 Things I hate about working at Authentic: 1. Every last one of my team members is ridiculously talented, my jaw hurts from constantly dropping it when I peak at projects in our dropbox. Authentic sent us to Boston for our company retreat and the Corporate Cup, I’m getting blown up by hockey recruiters begging me to join their relay team for next year. (Because I’m so athletic at hockey relays) 4. Anytime someone asks me "so how's the new job?" I accidentally talk their ear off because leadership empowers you to make an impact from day one. 5. The team is dangerously good at Music League and now my work playlists are too good and my airpods keep dying midday. 6. The topics I get to write about for Transforming Cities are so interesting and relevant that I'm constantly pointing out real world examples in the car to friends and family. Now Kevin knows more about on-site activation than he ever thought he would. 🙃 7. Weekends don't hit the same anymore because I have work/life balance all week. 8. I can't relate to memes about hating work. 9. Everyone keeps asking me if we're hiring! Who can relate? 🤔

Perspective is everything. This is St. Patrick’s Cathedral in NYC. It is breathtakingly beautiful. The funny thing is, if you walk up to it on the street, you can barely see it. It’s imposing, intricate, and awe-inspiring, but you’ll only catch a fraction of its magnificence from up close. This amazing view from the top is only possible from one of the buildings around it.
