Last month, I found myself drowning in a sea of daily tasks, unsure which ones needed my immediate attention. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭? Backlogs started piling up, and my productivity took a serious hit. That’s when a teammate introduced me to a technique that completely turned things around. It wasn’t the workload that was the problem—it was the confusion over what to prioritize. It’s easy to get lost in the chaos when everything seems urgent. Enter the 𝐄𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐱. This simple yet powerful method helped me break down my tasks into: 1️⃣ 𝐃𝐨 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭: Urgent and important tasks that need immediate action. 2️⃣ 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞: Important but not urgent tasks that require planning. 3️⃣ 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐞: Urgent but less important tasks that can be handed off to others. 4️⃣ 𝐄𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐞: Tasks that are neither urgent nor important. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞. My backlogs started shrinking, and my productivity shot up. Sometimes, it’s not about doing more—it’s about doing what matters most.
