“My advice for somebody who is young and struggling right now is to stick to your people, the people who are closest to your heart” - Constance Wu Recently, we spoke to Constance about mental health, self-care, and her advice for our young community. 💚 Constance Wu was our gala honoree earlier this year, and we were honored to have her and BD Wong speak to our youth and Asian American youth everywhere! A reminder from Constance: be proud of what you do and how you do it, don’t sacrifice your integrity, and seek places where you can openly talk about your life and dreams! Remember to lend a caring ear to your loved ones and try writing them a handwritten letter sometime 💌

Author of the Bee YOU-nique series encouraging kids to embrace their differences and celebrate all that makes them YOU-nique.
Input needed⭐️ I’m a children's author dedicated to inspiring kids through my Bee YOU-nique series, which encourages youth to embrace their differences and celebrate what makes them YOU-nique. Each one of us is different, which is a beautiful thing. The problem occurs when a child feels isolated or lonely because of their differences. These feelings of isolation can sometimes lead to mental health issues and or a lifetime of struggles. 🩷If you have a child who has experienced isolation, loneliness, or feelings of being different, or if you were once in such a situation and have discovered ways to overcome such challenges, I would love to hear from you. I’m looking for helpful tips or strategies you used to support your child in coping with those feelings. Additionally, do you have a unique way of helping your child celebrate their differences? Your responses will be compiled in a series of blogs on my website and used to assist other families dealing with similar concerns. Rest assured, no names will be disclosed; only situations and helpful strategies will be shared, unless otherwise requested. If you wish to contribute, please email me at JJuniperAuthor@gmail.com.
