#Day9 of Women Who Code Code Challenge! 💥 Today I spent most of the day working on connecting my React frontend to my NestJS and PostgreSQL backend for my Todo application. Unfortunately I encountered a few issues throughout the process and found myself very stuck. Thanks to Callie Stoscup's Coding with Callie Workshop session I was able to gain a better understanding of how to connect both sides of my application using a new framework! I now have the confidence to complete what I have and turn it in for feedback! 💻 #buildinpublic #linkedinwriting #womenwhocode #dailycoding #fullstackdeveloper

Blott Studio’s Diversity and Inclusion: We Even Accept Tabs or Spaces 🚀 Here at Blott, we don’t discriminate: Pythonistas, Java jugglers, and even those rogue HTML warriors are welcome. But there’s one debate that divides us: Tabs vs. Spaces. 🥷🪶 🔍 Equality & Diversity Policy Update: We’ve added a new clause— “All developers are equal, except those who use both tabs AND spaces in the same file. Those rebels will face a code review intervention.” 😂 So whether you’re team Tab or team Space, just remember: we’re all fighting the same battle… against CSS. #DiversityInTech #TabsVsSpaces #BlottStudioCulture

🎉 Day 18 of my #100DaysOfCode Journey! 🎉 Today, I completed the Zidio Development Web Development Introduction session on YouTube. I gained basic insights into the MERN stack and how its components interact. Additionally, I received a roadmap and project details. A heartfelt thanks to Team Zidio Development, Animesh Singh, and Harsa Dash for the guidance and support. Key Takeaway: Understanding the MERN stack's basics is crucial for building modern web applications, and having a clear roadmap is essential for a structured learning path. I'm excited to continue this journey and share my progress with you all! #WebDevelopment #CodeNewbie #MERN #LearningInPublic #ZidioDevelopment #TechCommunity #CareerGrowth

I build products of all complexities, freeing up startups to focus on marketing and growth, with guarantee of honesty and quality.
Ever since I began my coding journey 10 years ago, C has held a special place in my heart. The thrill of manipulating pointers and constructing intricate data structures was not just a task—it was my hobby. Those days of coding in Borland Turbo C are unforgettable. Recently, I've embarked on a new adventure with Go, especially focusing on backend development. The experience strikingly reminds me of my C programming days. It's fascinating how Go brings that familiar precision and efficiency, making it feel like coming home to C, but with a modern twist. This transition has been a nostalgic yet forward-looking journey in my development career. I'm eager to explore more of what Go has to offer! #Go #C #C++

One of the toughest challenge in my life is waking up early on Sundays to participate in LeetCode contests. Despite my efforts, I was still an hour late today. Leetcode 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 #𝟰𝟬𝟮 A-D Explanations - You can refer to the Video Editorial for problem D. Link is there in the comment section. #Day10 of Women Who Code Coding Challenge 😎 TGIF! It's been a long week, but we made it! Today I was able to get my post route working and connected to my frontend! I ran into a bit of trouble when trying to map through my data to dynamically render them on the page. Typescript is making this process very interesting to say the least. I'm going to stop for today and come back tomorrow, hopefully with a fresh mindset. 🆕 💻 I hope everyone has a great weekend! 🤗 #buildinginpublic #fullstackdeveloper #typescript #womenwhocode #dailycoding

ERP/digital transformation expert | CTO @ Hoppinger | team lead @ BLP Digital | Ph.D. in Computer Science
Software engineers are the only people who learned how to use a footgun (ie a gun that automatically points at your foot when you don't pay attention) when they were young, and then they become advocates of all the benefits of footguns. And sometimes, even footbazookas. I mean, I started programming with C and C++. Those two are very proper footbazookas. Then I grew up, learned other stuff that does not try to kill me whenever I get distracted, and moved on. Here are a few examples of footguns/footbazookas: C, C++, Python, JavaScript, PHP, Wordpress, Apache/nginx: all cool tools that require lots of knowledge in order to perform ordinary operations, with high risk of accidental disaster. Well behaved tools are SAFE: memory-safe, type-safe, virtualized, etc. Examples? C#, Java, Typescript, Rust, Docker, etc. Don't blow yourself up. Enjoy life. Retire with a few hair still on. Cheers!
