Contact us through October 1 to have trees planted in your community in spring 2025! Learn more and apply here: https://bit.ly/2QcXupj Each tree we provide for communities through TreeVitalize Pittsburgh: 👍🏽 is hand-selected. 💚 is chosen from a list of nearly 40 approved species, including oaks, serviceberry and crabapple. 📏 has a two-inch diameter trunk. 🌳 is 6-10 feet tall and is dug from a local nursery with a large root ball. We consider hardiness, projected height and canopy spread so the trees grow successfully in an urban environment. For example, we choose trees that won’t grow too high under utility lines or too wide to block sightlines on streets or crowd sidewalks.

Everything that Basildon produces goes beyond its borders. This is a place that punches well above its weight. And that isn’t just a cliché – the reason I can say that with confidence is because wherever in the world I go, people know Basildon. They’ve heard of us. To so many, Basildon is perpetually underestimated but impossible to ignore. I often think: given what this place has achieved in just 75 years, just imagine if it had the powers, the tools, the investment and the town centre to match its promise, power and potential? What could this place become in the next 75 years? So, there are other towns that you can work in and invest your money in. There is none other where you’ll be remembered more. Here, everything counts. This is your chance at legacy, to fire up the South Essex estuary. So the only question from me to you all is simple: who’s with me? #BelieveInBasildon
