Among the Dutchie doom & gloom, I'm happy to report a 420 success story for a new single store operator in NJ 😀 While Dutchie was down for several hours on 420, I was pleasantly surprised to hear from one of my clients in NJ, Dank Poet Dispensary LLC 👍 They use Dutchie POS, but luckily were NOT affected by the outage. 🙏 Stores down the street weren't so lucky. 👍 They doubled their sales compared to a typical Saturday. Not surprising for THE canna-holiday but wonderful news for a new operator. Another crucial piece of a dispensary's tech stack is Alpine IQ. For months they've been plagued by carrier filtration of text messages, and 420 was no different...except for this client. 👍 They had 77% text deliverability! 👀 For context, 60-90%+ of texts lately have NOT been delivered across multiple clients. 👍 They also had great engagement with their emails & texts leading up to and on 420 with: >> 33% avg open rate >> 15% avg CTR >> 3.6% avg conversion rate* *3-5 day attribution of opening or clicking the campaign This is a small but mighty team who is focused on creating interesting customer experiences in their store and not just relying on discounts to drive new and repeat business. Their 420 activations didn't disappoint. They hosted a joint rolling class, multiple food trucks, live music, vendor pop-ups, provided a free shuttle for overflow parking, held a local art competition, giveaways, and had a secret password for freebies just for loyalty members.
