One of the best parts of Mud Day Mayhem is getting to walk around and see people having fun, enjoying the outdoors, and the muddy and messy play. It is great to see families mingling, and we're grateful to get to spend the day in community! Thank you to everyone who came and helped make the day a special one.

This looks like the beginning of the most epic buddy comedy movie ever imagined! 🐻🐺 #Interspecies Grizzly bears and coyotes do share habitats and can come into contact, particularly in regions like the northern Rockies, parts of Canada, and Alaska, but they likely won't be sharing the silver screen. Their interactions are generally driven by competition for food resources. Coyotes, being smaller and less dominant, tend to avoid direct confrontations with grizzlies. They often scavenge the remains of food left by grizzlies or other larger predators. While a grizzly bear might tolerate a coyote at a distance, they would likely chase the coyote away if they perceived a threat to their food or cubs. Humans possess the ability to be wise, but we are ever changing and heavily opinionated... There is always hope for humanity, but we are by default, contradictory and paradoxical. 500 dogs getting along in one space is quite different from 500 humans with different opinions and the ability to choose and do as they please. The human experience is misunderstood, and quite different. However, we are not born hateful, angry, racist, violent, or possess any form of prejudice... those are things we learn. The DNA molecule is so incredible that it can pass on any information to the next generation for its survival. DNA can tell elephants to grow shorter tusks, or no tusks at all, it can pass on a traumatic scar from the human mother to the human baby. And yet, DNA has not passed on things such as racism... I think that speaks to our biology, even those who are racist know it's not natural. I believe the human condition is an experience and it will never be fully understood, we ever changing and adapting, and that's ok.
