The London office held a Christmas Jumper day to raise money for Charity. With any WFH staff also joining in! As part of the event we will be donating £250.00 to Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), a charity that is close to one of our London Associates. Great work everyone!

Let us know what you think! Select '...more' for the answer 👇 The answer is 'C' meaning that a whopping £3.9bn is donated through gifts in Wills every year! We know that now is the time to invest in legacy fundraising - with the largest transfer of wealth happening for a generation over the next 20-30 years. We also know that 20% of estates are now charitable with more and more new charities being included every year, meaning a whopping £3.9bn is donated through gifts in Wills yearly*. That means every charity has to work harder and smarter, to ensure they’re not forgotten about. If your charity needs some immediate support with your legacy programme, or you would like to have a chat with Jordan Miller-Hughes MCIOF (Cert) to see how you could do things differently, please reach out to him - jordan@leadsnavigator.co.uk *Reported by Smee&Fords Legacy Giving Trends Report 2024 #legacy #charity #fundraising #gifts #wills #quiz

Charitable Will✨ I always have a WISH that there will be a Testator who wish to tailor made his or her Will for charitable purpose . My prayer has been answered on 2024🙏. Million worth of assets to be donated to the intended Benficiary, a Church. Trust Company as a Sole Executor and Trustee. All assets to be disposed off and sales proceed to be donated to the intended Beneficiary. Funeral arrangement documentated in the Will as well. If you are looking to create or manage a Charitable Will/Trust, Estate Planning Company can guide you through the process to ensure your philanthropic goals are met effectively. Types of Gifts can be Pecuniary Bequests, Specific Bequests and Residuary Bequests. One key point to be bear in mind, it is important to research and ensure that the Charity aligns with your values and is reputable when choosing a Charity. You too can donate a Charity close to your heart♥. #estateplanning #charitablewill #CharitableTrust #eastmalaysia

Despite the rising cost of living, the British public demonstrated incredible generosity last year, donating an estimated £13.9 billion to charity according to a Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) report. Now, here's an opportunity to make your legacy count even more… 𝐀𝐝𝐝 𝐚 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐓𝐚𝐱 𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞 By leaving at least 10% of your net estate to charity, you could reduce the Inheritance Tax (IHT) rate on your estate from 40% to 36%. This not only helps you support the causes you care about, but also allows you to leave more to your loved ones. What charity would you leave a gift to in your will?

Morning team, with 100 signed up, even allowing for team pages we have 32 attendees still to set up just giving pages! Just a final reminder about raising funds and your Do It For Dom Just Giving pages. This year the cost for our event is higher than usual, the £149 entry fee will only just cover the venue, the games, evening meal and all other additional associated costs. *Entry fees allow us to maybe break even.* As with previous Do It For Dom events, this is going to be another memorable one…….. …..the primary reason for us all to be there is raising money for charity. Everyone has pledged to raise a minimum of £200. I know some people have mentioned they would rather donate to a Just Giving age, if this is the case please donate to Suzanna’s page and if this is a personal donation, please click the Gift Aid. https://lnkd.in/eGHJYawY Gift aid is a huge part of the amount we collect. If personal money is donated, *for every £1 raised through just giving we received back a further 25p.* Our reason for all being there is to raise funds for charity…….. we really do appreciate and know how hard it is to raise money this year. We are really looking forward to the day, see you the day after tomorrow 😵💫😎 *Please* help by setting up your page or donating today 🙏🏻 https://lnkd.in/exXJPzgE #DIFD #DIFD24

Fundraising dinners…are they worth the effort? It depends on a number of factors but if you’ve got a strong support network for your charity then I’d say it’s definitely worth it. One of my charity clients raised just over £85 per guest at their last gala dinner. That may not sound much but let’s do the maths: After all costs are paid, if you have 250 people at your next fundraising dinner that’s over £21,000 raised for your charity. Worth the effort to give guests a fab evening and fund your charity efforts over the coming year? If you’re still not sure how this can work for you, comment or drop me a message and we can talk it through with your charity specifically in mind.

Make a difference for mental health by chucking out some of your stuff. Check out this quick way to help those who need it. You never know who’s life you might change and who you inspire. 🧠 ♥️ Find a Mind shop. https://lnkd.in/e3Azb7Q7 #mindhealth #axahealth #mind
This is how to donate £30 without spending any money! ❌💸 Grab a bin bag (or any bag) and fill it with clothes you don’t want or love anymore and head to your nearest Mind charity shop. Because one bag of donated clothes = £30 That means every time you donate a bag of clothes to us, you’ve just donated £30 💰 The average bag contains items that are roughly worth £30, of course this may vary.

Did you know that, as part of your Will, you can set aside money for charity? You may have heard this called planned or legacy giving. And you’ll probably hear a lot more about it in the coming years: A Will Power study found a significant increase (5% to 8%) in the number of Canadians donating to charity in their Wills. https://lnkd.in/dNqWemR #MakeADifference #WillPower.ca #LegacyGiving #CommunityImpact
