Hello, my name is Matt Brown and I'm a Senior service engineer here at Applied Analytics and this is the OA 406 R It's similar to our OMA 300 but it's in different enclosure AU 5 by 19 inch rack. This is useful if you're in a lab environment and you either have racks for analyzers or you just want to put it on a table like it is right here. Common applications we have for this is our flooring measurement. If you look here at the front of the analyzer, you've got an on off button, you've got a PID. That's actually the temperature that the spectrometer internally is being controlled to. You got a USB port for connecting mice, keyboard whatnot, and a touch screen interface is the HMI. Now if we look at the connections on the back of the analyzer. This. You've got power in a K type thermocouple in Ethernet connection, fiber and fiber out to go to the sample itself, and you've got a series of connections for both singles to control, room for the 20s relay controls to control sampling system inputs and outputs. So this is again the Element 406 rack mount analyzer. So now I'm going to be showing you more information about our flooring measurement. This is the default screen of the software on the OMA 406. You can see here we're measuring fluorine and we've got the concentration right there on the window. Now we can go to the spectrum screen and actually look at the data the spectrometer is generating. So we'll go go to spectrum. And here we have. The absorbance and the light levels. So how absorbance is calculated is the blank over the current light level? The log of the blank over the current light level gives you the absorbance and basically the absorbance we look at our calibration range and the area under the curve. Multiplied by our calibration factor is what actually gives us the flooring measurement that you're looking at. So this is a quick overview of the OA 406 for flooring. This is a nice application for coriolis mercaptain injection is usually 6 ppm so accuracy is key

Gas Chromatography for Natural Gas Analysis : Most of our customers still using Helium as a carrier gas for their Gas Chromatography (for Natural Gas Analysis application). But did you know, using Hydrogen as a carrier gas can get a faster analysis time while maintaining the same analysis performance? Sadly, safety issue are the main reason why they keep using Helium.
