I recently watched an interview by Nadir Godrej on the YourStory Media YouTube channel. He discussed Narayana Murthy's 70-hour workweek idea and why working from home is revolutionary. He said: You don’t need to come to the office! If you are dedicated enough and know your work, and if a company can measure productivity, then there is no reason to stop your employee from working from home. This is a contrary and rebellious view from the business icon Nadir Godrej But why is he such a firm believer in this now being called a utopian idea? If you look at the academic background of Nadir Sir, he graduated from MIT and then went on to study at Stanford. So, basically, his family comes from a wide range of experiences, and this gives me knowledge from a wide subject, be it history or economics or business. And he also understands the father and son bond as he was very close to his father. So, he knows if you are working from home, you can perfectly play the role of a father, or mother, or life partner, or brother or sister. It is important because you are not responsible only for being an employee to the company. But also, being there for your near and dear ones.Nadir Sir understands the role of how working from home can be beneficial to everyone. And why it can change the whole narrative. But only when your productivity can be measured. Because only if you measure performance, you can improve it. Do you feel related to the rebellious words of Nadir Godrej? #workfromhome #remoteculture #output #organization

There’s something magical about unplanned meetings! Recently My husband and I were in Kochi, India, for his college reunion when something lovely and surprising happened! I unexpectedly bumped into some of my old classmates, who I hadn’t seen or met for ages. I recognized and appreciated the fact that some of the happiest experiences occur when we least expect them. Meeting my classmates and friends after years felt like we had all hit a “Pause Button” since we last met and were pressing “Play” again. It was as if we had said our goodbyes at graduation just yesterday -yet decades had passed! We had all grown older, greyer, plumper, had evolved into mothers, fathers, spouses, and even grandparents, but somehow it felt like we were young adults back in college again! We shared stories -some funny ,some embarrassing, others sad, especially when remembering our classmates who had passed on .We caught up with each other's lives and experiences. This unexpected meeting brought home to me the value of friendships and the importance of staying connected with those who’ve been part of my journey. It’s easy to get caught up in day-to-day 'busyness' but moments like this unexpected meeting of friends was priceless.! Celebrate delightful unexpected surprises that add Joy, smiles, fun and enhance your sense of well being. Have you experienced unexpected reunions like this? I’d love to hear some of your stories, do share them in the comments below. #Reunion #OldFriends #NewMemories

WFH and Ganpati Bappa 🙏 Coming from a traditional Maharashtrian family, we celebrate Ganpati Bappa for 10 days, which means a constant flow of guests and festivities at home. Festivals are a time for joy, but the legal world doesn’t take a break. Working from home during Ganesh Chaturthi has been a game-changer—allowing me to stay immersed in the celebrations while managing client deadlines and legal work. With the right work ethic, balancing both is possible. Whether it’s finalizing contracts or tackling complex legal matters, you can stay productive while keeping the festive spirit alive! How do you balance work and celebrations? 🎉💼 #WorkFromHome #ganpatibappa #LegalLife #WorkLifeBalance #LawAndFestivity

Mumbai calling! Festival vibes and client projects on track! 🇮🇳 Guess what? I'm in Mumbai soaking up the festive energy and tackling some exciting client work - all thanks to my amazing friend Rutuja! She convinced me to ditch the traffic and dive into the iconic Mumbai local trains. And let me tell you, it's been an eye-opening (and surprisingly productive) experience! Here's why taking the train has been a total #careerwin: ➡️ Time-saving superhero: Trains zip through the city, beating rush hour and leaving me more time to crush those project deadlines. ➡️ Networking express: Sharing the ride with Mumbai's diverse crowd opens up unexpected connections and sparks fresh ideas. Who knows, my next big collaboration might be just a seat away! ➡️ Budget booster: Those local train fares are practically pocket change, freeing up resources for client dinners or that extra-special souvenir. ➡️ Cultural immersion: The train window is a front-row seat to Mumbai's vibrant life, inspiring creativity and giving me a deeper understanding of the city's rhythm. 🇮🇳 So, cheers to Rutuja for the local train tip, and cheers to embracing new experiences (even if they're a little crowded)! Who else loves exploring cities like a local? Share your tips in the comments! #mumbai #festivals #clientmeetings #localtrainlife #timemanagement #culturalinspiration #professionaldevelopment #networkingexpress P.S. Don't worry, I'll still be using my phone during the ride to answer your queries and connect! Now, excuse me while I grab some vada pav and watch the city whiz by!
