"They" told us we needed CrowdStrike in our stack. We are generally allergic to most licensed tools, so we decided to go our own way. Also, as a cyber pro, Nato Riley, who led the development of our platform, knew the vulnerabilities of CrowdStrike and figured there is always a better way, and probably one we could code ourselves. So we did! And as a result, we are having a crisis-free day! We were attacked last summer, but the Underground Nexus, the open-source development platform for creators and engineers alike from Cloud Underground, blocked all attempts. So even that was largely inconsequential, and none of our critical or sensitive data was affected. So while the rest of the cyber world is putting out fires, I'm relaxing and enjoying a cup of coffee on a rainy Friday afternoon.
