With $3,076 in funding from the Resource Recovery and Circular Economy Grants, the Tamar Valley Steiner School has enhanced their composting facilities, educating students about sustainable waste management. Impact: - Diverted 650 kg of waste from landfill - Educated students on composting and worm farming - Promoted lifelong sustainable habits Global studies show that to return to safe limits of consumption, we need to reduce global material extraction and consumption by a third. Transitioning to a circular economy will be instrumental to achieving this. Teaching the next generation about sustainability is crucial. Together, we can make a difference!
