Professional Coach | Happy & Human Podcast Co-Host | Author Break your glass ceiling at work and at home without staying trapped in the hustle culture
As working moms, we face a unique set of challenges. There is a lot of change that we can advocate for to help not just ourselves, but the companies, colleagues, and our families. But we can't advocate for those changes without measuring what's working--and what's not. For example, female doctors tend to spend more time with their patients and have better procedural/treatment outcomes while also taking on more of the workload of raising a family and running the home than our male counterparts. Similar examples can be found across all industries. It costs us our mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health--and our social health (the quality of our relationships) take the hit... And we find ourselves chasing the sense of fulfillment and happiness we seek, only to feel like it's just out of our reach. I'm a huge advocate of looking inward for fulfillment and happiness, AND I also recognize that we must have systems in place that support us as individuals so that we as individuals can support a healthy system that works. We must measure our internal enviroment (by coaching, mindset work, therapy, etc) as well as external systems (like what Motherly®'s survey is doing) so we can advocate for meaningful change in a way that gets all of us the results we want--happiness and ease individually and as a society. Read more and take the survey below to do your part. #workingmom #womensupportingwomen #togetherwethrive
Calling all mamas! Motherly®’s annual State of Motherhood Survey is here! Let your voice be heard and help us tell the true story of motherhood in 2024 by taking the survey. We are proud that our data has helped translate the needs of mothers into statistics and data. We do this work because it aligns deeply with one of Motherly's core values of taking motherhood seriously. We know your time is valuable—survey respondents will be entered into a random drawing to win a $100 electronic gift card to Target. Five winners will be selected. https://lnkd.in/eBrnbiCi
