🚨 A new fraud scheme uses apps like Calendly to distribute malware on Mac devices with the intent of stealing cryptocurrency. Hackers are impersonating cryptocurrency investors, sending a Calendly link to schedule a meeting. If the first link fails, they provide an alternative as a technical fix. Clicking the link could trigger a script that installs malware on the user's Mac, compromising personal and financial data. It is crucial to be cautious with links or attachments, particularly from unknown sources. Always verify links, be wary of shortened links, and be cautious of running scripts or installing software from unverified sources.
