So how is it we are any better off than the animals? Our purpose and contentment come from accepting reality and trusting in G-d. Solomon said to himself concerning the sons of men. He speaks to himself, being self-aware in his contemplation. The phrase sons of men is a poetic term that refers to the human race. Expanding the notion of G-d as judge, Solomon now says to himself: G-d has surely tested them, speaking of the sons of men. The Hebrew word translated tested carries the notion of a thing being purified (2). The exercise Solomon observes G-d using to purify humanity is to demonstrate to them that they are but beasts. This seems a bit odd. Solomon explains further: For the fate of the sons of men and the fate of the beasts is the same. DAY 26 TASK: UMOJA (Unity) SQUAD 1 (One) My transformative journey with ‘Umoja Squad’ in the Career Momentum Assembly, LinkedIn Growth Program has been nothing short of inspiring. Umoja, meaning ‘unity,’ truly reflects our shared commitment to growth, learning, and supporting each other. Led by the ever-dedicated Daniel Kassim, alongside incredible squadmates like ‘Enere Colman’, ‘Fauziya Danladi’, and many others, our interactions and deliberations have been rich and impactful. The feedback and support I have received from my squadmates have motivated me to keep pushing forward, not only in my LinkedIn journey but in my personal growth as well. Through discussions, task-sharing, and constructive feedback, I have been able to implement new strategies that have greatly improved my profile and engagement on LinkedIn. The guidance from Team leader Daniel, in particular, and the two time keepers Fauziya and Colman has been instrumental in helping me manage my time, stay focused, and aligned with my goals. I am incredibly grateful for the unity, insight, and encouragement that our group provides, and I am more determined than ever to continue learning and growing.
