On LinkedIn, you might come across 22-year-olds proudly sharing their CEO titles, while someone in their 30s is still navigating the job market. And that's perfectly okay—everyone's journey is unique. What truly sets us apart is our individual skills, experiences, and personalities. What you’re starting at 23, someone else might have already achieved at 20. It's natural to compare, and self-doubt can be overwhelming, but remember. The only thing that truly matters is staying focused on your own path and achieving your goals—at your own pace. 📌 Watch my journey here : https://lnkd.in/ghyhVQ9c 📌If you want to learn more join my community : https://lnkd.in/gdc7xqBW

I chose a career in recruitment because I have a genuine passion for helping others. Similarly, my involvement in rescue work stems from my desire to make a positive impact. Working as a recruiter at STG has been incredibly fulfilling because I have the opportunity to transform people's lives for the better. Likewise, being involved in rescue work allows me to play a part in changing the lives of every dog we save. But what exactly does it mean to help? Helping is the act of providing assistance and support to others, with the intention of making tasks or situations easier for them. It encompasses offering guidance, providing necessary resources, and offering emotional support, all of which are essential for fostering collaboration, personal growth, and community well-being. At Software Technology Group, we prioritize the well-being of our employees. We invest in their careers and are dedicated to helping them achieve their professional goals. Through continuous education and training opportunities, we empower our employees to reach new heights in their careers. Now, I'd like to turn the question to you. What is it that you need help with? Are you someone who enjoys helping others? And if so, what kind of assistance have you provided to your community?

I had the blessing of attending Soul Church today where a big part of the sermon was about community. In all aspects of life, whether it's church, family, or work - it just works better with community. It made me think of work and what we are doing here at XenTegra. Oftentimes Engineers, Analyst, and Admins often toil away at their tasks alone. Yes, all projects require a team for success, but time and time again I hear from the customers I serve that they have not talked to their Partner or Technology provider all year. If you go to Church on Sundays and dont know or talk to those next to you, that is not building a relationship or community. The same thing goes with work. Customers, Partners, and OEMs must lean into community. Andy Whiteside has led with community since Day 1 of #XenTegra. During my initial interview 4 years ago, he told me of the time when he worked at Citrix and was working with Partners who only transacted. He realized at that time that without relationships and community among the client, OEM, and the Partner projects often failed. Why? Because without actually leaning in to build relationships, knowing the business, and fostering community, you can't truly understand your clients needs long term. Many in the community might look at XenTegra and think we are crazy to do hundreds of in-person events a year, give away 90% off conference passes, or have multiple company gatherings throughout the year. Some may say we are are flushing $ down the toilet. That reality is that community building is what makes XenTegra different. This is our DNA; our secret sauce. I'm proud to deliver on this mission. If you are looking for a strong, experienced IT Solutions and Services Partner that wants to actually build a relationship/community with you, give me a shout. I would love for you to be apart of our family.

Many talented individuals find themselves stuck in toxic work environments, not because they lack options, but because they are deeply committed to the work they do. It's a difficult predicament, similar to the emotional turmoil of remaining in a toxic personal relationship because of deep care and hope for what could be. In the workplace, this translates to holding onto the potential impact of the organization's mission, despite the damaging environment. I understand the inner conflict this creates—how it can feel isolating, as if no one truly grasps the weight of the decision to stay or go. That’s precisely why I created UNPLUG—a community designed to offer a safe space for professionals like you. UNPLUG allows you to disconnect from environments that drain your spirit and focus instead on personal and professional renewal. Here, we prioritize well-being and provide the support you need to refocus on what truly matters: your health, your dreams, and your career aspirations. Join us at UNPLUG, where you can find the strength to make the best decision for your career and well-being. Find the city closest to you and register now: www.unplugevent.com

#2 in our Fast Five Ways to Appreciate Volunteers: Ask How You Can Help Them Stay! You don’t have to conduct a full formal Stay Interview to let a volunteer know that you appreciate them and want them to stay, and you don’t want to wait until they turn in their notice. A little can go a long way; proactively take 5 minutes to tell your best volunteers that you value them and want to do what you can to help them stay engaged with the organization. This simple question can reduce volunteer burnout and help determine how the organization must adapt to keep great volunteers proactively. Pro Tip: Prioritize time monthly to list a few volunteers you would like to connect with and seek them out. You can serve alongside them for a few minutes and chat, ask them to swing by your office, or text/call them. Take it Beyond the Volunteer Engagement Professionals: Help your volunteer supervisors determine who they want to reach out to. Share feedback, adjust opportunities as you can, and/or find an alternative way for the volunteer(s) to serve that fits their current needs, interests, abilities, etc. Consider creating a Stay Interview process for your organization at a volunteer’s anniversary with the organization. #serviceenterprise #gvm #lovols #vmlearn #volmgt #

First week back at work, and it’s been challenging, to say the least. This morning, though, I managed to attend the huddle with the Care Connector. While my visit was brief and I didn’t stay long enough for the Beat the Bomb have or one-on-one chats, it was still great to see everyone. Small steps! 😀 #BackToWork #CareConnector #ProgressNotPerfection #SmallSteps #Teamwork #SupportNetwork #ChallengingWeek #CommunityMatters
