At Aquila Clean Energy, we are committed to making a positive and sustainable impact in the regions where we operate. Here are some of the initiatives we have undertaken as part of the development of various projects in Spain. 🌍Environmental education days: We've held educational activities in schools near our solar PV plants in Tabernas, Barcience, El Cuco and Pepino to raise students' awareness of renewable energy and environmental protection. Activities included plant visits and lessons on solar PV energy and local heritage. 📚 Renewable energy training: As part of the development of our Pepino and El Cuco plants, we offered a course on the installation and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. This included practical and theoretical training on solar energy, system components, safety and maintenance. We also worked with the Chambers of Commerce of Toledo and Albacete on entrepreneurship training in the renewable energy sector, and ran an electrical installation course in Tabernas. 💡Visit to the Barcience solar PV plant: Students from the Polytechnic University of Madrid's School of Engineering and Industrial Design visited the Barcience solar PV plant in Toledo. They gained hands-on experience with solar modules, inverters and more, enhancing their understanding of solar PV operations. These initiatives are a key part of our approach to social and environmental engagement in Spain. We focus on environmental protection, stakeholder engagement and value creation for the community. Together, we can build a brighter and more sustainable future! 🌱💡 #AquilaCleanEnergy #Sustainability #RenewableEnergy #EnvironmentalEducation
