So far, it has been necessary to calibrate the gyro navigation system through time-consuming manual measurements at frequent intervals. ❗The most significant issue: very small diameters in direct pipe projects where an access of the pipe is impossible. For the first time, our recent development called TUnIS.pipelight makes it possible to carry out control surveys in non-accessible curved drives. InnetiQs offers the inspection of underwater pipelines with a variety of inspection tools and underwater scanning systems that can typically be used by ROVs. The MagControl enables inspection of pipelines with coatings up to 20 mm thick and wall thicknesses up to 1 inch to detect internal and external localised or general corrosion. The pulsed eddy current inspection technology PECT enables the inspection of thick insulated and concrete weight coated (CWC) subsea pipelines. The underwater scan crawler system allows inspection through up to 200mm of insulation or CWC. InnetiQs implements the ultrasonic sensors in parallel with the MagControl sensors to enable a combined inspection approach. This combines the highly sensitive MagControl electromagnetic technology, which detects localised damage very well, and parallel scanning of the absolute wall thickness using ultrasonic sensors, which are arranged and operated parallel to the electromagnetic sensor array.
