Architect of User-Centric, Real-Time, Location-Based Communications Orchestrator of Mobility & Journey Experiences
Airports are marked with a common "Pre-Trip Anxiety" [https://bit.ly/3vjphNV] that, when coupled with the fact that conscious minds handle only 40 to 50 bits of information per second [https://bit.ly/492WHPJ], can sometimes lead to unconscious or implicit bias for how passengers perceive and act toward airport and travel related displayed information they come across. In the context of Digital Aviation, an ultimately memorable Airport Journey Experience is only achievable by employing effective and targeted Real-Time Location-Based Communication. Humbly ... This year's Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holiday was an unusually busy period for Saudi Arabia's airports. 100 different airlines carried more than 12.5 million people on 86,000 flights including domestic and international, private and commercial. That was an 18% increase in trips and passengers over the same period in 2023. The busiest airports were Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport with 5.38 million passengers and Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport with 3.23 million passengers. What is driving these surging numbers? Open doors. Passenger numbers have been picking up since the Kingdom simplified it's visa services for pilgrims and tourists. Continued investment in the aviation industry in particular and the tourism sector more broadly as the Kingdom pursues its vision to position itself as an industrial powerhouse and important logistics hub should deliver accelerating growth in passenger and flight numbers over the coming months and years. Abha International Airport has made history as Saudi Arabia's first silent airport, adopting global standards. By deviating from traditional practices, it has eliminated non-essential announcements, much like renowned silent airports such as Singapore Changi and Zurich International. Instead, passengers are kept informed about flight details through display screens and boarding gates, creating a peaceful atmosphere. However, emergency announcements remain permissible to ensure passenger safety. This initiative aims to simplify travel and encourage passengers to rely on digital communication for a stress-free journey. Silent airports prioritize tranquility by minimizing unnecessary noise, enhancing the overall travel experience. By adopting this innovative approach, Abha International Airport sets a new standard for airports in the region, providing a more serene and comfortable environment for travelers. . . . #Airport #NoiseFree #International #TribuneTrends
