Exciting findings from our study on pancreatic walled-off necrosis (WON). Preoperative blood test imbalances, like hyperkalemia and hypoalbuminemia, strongly predict 1-year mortality and ICU admission in endoscopically treated patients. AUCs of 0.84 for mortality and 0.86 for ICU admission highlight the models' robust predictive ability. Valuable insights for enhanced patient care. Kudos to Mohamed Ebrahim for a great paper. #WON #Pancreatitis #Gastrounit #Endoscopy
